It’s Christmas Time
Well at least that’s how it feels today, not only am I picking up my new car today, but it also snowed briefly and to top it off, last night when I arrived home, the transfer cable for my Xbox Elite had finally arrived after 3 months of waiting. This has meant that I was able to move all my games and saves over to the new hard disk and consequently I can now trade in my old Xbox Premium for hopefully about £140, which will probably get mostly spent immediately on Guitar Hero III and a wireless guitar.

Ok fed up of this game
Well I managed a whole 1 1/2 hours un-interrupted sleep last night and I am in a really foul mood today. Having said that at the end of this I am going to be able to do a review of the various cough medicines, Covonia which had promised soo much yesterday was a complete waste of time last night and tasted horrible. Today we will be trying Vicks Cough Syrup.
Anyway on to more pleasant matters and Mass Effect, don’t want to say too much at the minute as I have only played it for an hour so far, however it’s looking good, I love the conversation mode, although the option to skip forward ( I can read the subtitles faster than they can say them!!) would have been handy. So far I have learnt that I need to read the manual as some of the bits I don’t understand!!!
Also XBox Live Arcade unleashed GripShift and Arkadian Warriors, the latter of which is a top down dungeon exploring hack and slash, just my cup of tea, which I have already purchased. GripShift I suspect will also see my reaching for my virtual wallet to pay for, however I need a little more time with the demo to be completely sure, but it’s off road racing, exploring and collecting modes make it slightly more interesting than the average racing game.

Today sees the Chairboy somewhat tired after a marathon session playing Lego Star Wars – Complete Saga on the 360 last night. Mrs CB was out with her best mate and load of other girlfriends, heading up to London to watch “Dirty Dancing” the stage show. Thankfully I was easily able to turn down the opportunity to come with, when it arose back in June, so an evening that was planned out as being Indian and Xbox, with a few beers thrown in for good measure.
Anyway to cut a long story short, I eventually decided (after a lot of thought) to turn off the Xbox around 1:15am, which when your alarm goes off at 5am is late. Sadly enough once the alarm had permeated through the haze of sleep I did have to turn the Xbox back on for another 30 mins of block breaking Star Wars style!!!
